Acide Acidd

"Acidd est une association 1901 conçue en 2000. Elle s'est constituée autour de l'idée que l'information, la communication et le numérique pouvaient être une bonne nouvelle pour le développement durable (...). Les NTIC nous font envisager de nouveaux modèles économiques en favorisant l'économie de la fonctionnalité. C'est grâce aux TIC, par exemple, que le velib' est devenu possible(...). Nous avons en France une classe politique qui ne comprend pas bien les logiques actuelles (...). Nos élus sont dans des rapports de force traditionnels, non dans la logique d'écosystème."

Ma contribution à Copenhague - EMPOWERMENT

I have a friend in Stanford working on the un-readability (new word) of user's manuals. Then I think of IDEO's human centered design toolkit. Then I think of the i-phone, and McLuhan's hot and cold media theory. Then I think that one day we will deal with energy distribution and reception, for instance, as a natural extension of our body- call it smart grid, smart power meter, or else... The constraint of having to cut off and stop is replaced by a financial advantage on the one hand (less energy spent = more money left) and the advent of a personal decision making process towards a global feeding system on the other hand (autonomisation + self-regulation). This + That = choice = EMPOWERMENT. And this would be a great name for this system - by the way.
